I lovingly call myself “the can opener”. Raising awareness is what I do best. What I love most about this work are the ah-hah moments that change how we see the world forever. I use my teaching background, and my experiences as a biracial, queer woman to focus on strategically creating cultures of learning in business that build awareness and understanding, and a willingness to engage in uncomfortable conversations – resulting in environments where people thrive. And I don’t do this work alone.

I am honoured to work alongside these gifted, courageous and talented individuals…the ASI team.

Sophia Aura, Executive Assistant

Sophie Aura is a seasoned Executive Assistant with over 25 years in the field. She has extensive experience with all administrative tasks which she has demonstrated by the Executive positions she has held in NGOs, Medical and Business fields.

Raja Khouri, Consultant, Facilitator

Raja G. Khouri is an international consultant in strategic development, capacity building, situational analysis, social innovation, advocacy, human rights and inclusion. He is a former commissioner with the Ontario Human Rights Commission and is Canada Committee member of Human Rights Watch.

Kevin Welbes-Godin, Consultant & Facilitator

Kevin Welbes Godin (he/him) is a veteran teacher, cis-white ally, and EDI facilitator/consultant who advocates for racial and 2SLGBTQI+ justice through activism and education. Through a team approach and working with an intersectionality of identities, Kevin lends his privilege to working towards a more equitable workplace where diversity emerges as a strength.

Melanie Peters Bright

Melanie is ASIs bookkeeper and has had a bookkeeping business for 15 years. She loves working with clients and businesses of all shapes and sizes where she constantly learns new things and is reminded to enjoy life!

Tammy Baker-House

Tammy is ASI’s Business Manager. She wears a lot of hats and oversees the day to day operations at ASI. We couldn’t do it without her. With over 20 years in administration, she manages all aspects of our clients relationships making sure everyone stays happy along the way.
Tammy joined ASI in 2015 and has loved every minute of it!
Her super powers are killer organization skillz and not being afraid to tell it like it is!
