Anytime I have the opportunity to inspire people to understand the value of diversity, inclusion and belonging, I’m happy to do so. My ideal situation is working with you within the context of a larger vision – whether I help you build that, or you’re already on your way.
However, I understand that sometimes you just need a presentation or a workshop to get things started, to get people interested, or to get people talking.
I run intimate workshops, customized with your needs in mind.
Workshops are small groups of maximum 25 people, and run for 3 or 4 hours.
I also give presentations or Lunch and Learns.
These are always interactive and can accommodate 26 people or more.
To book a workshop or presentation, please make an appointment here.
Sometimes you need someone to sit with you and figure pieces of the D&I journey out.
You may book some consultation time or a Discovery Call where we will dive deeper and see if I may be of service to your organization here.
Speaking Engagements are my favourite!
You can read more about those on my Speaking page.
Here are some things my clients are saying:
“I was delighted when Annemarie accepted our invitation to speak with BMO’s Procurement team on the day we marked Day of Pink. Annemarie delivered an inspirational message, opening hearts (and minds) to the realities that others, who are different from us, face daily. Annemarie helped us solve the question: Imagine what the world would look like if we really knew each other? She spoke about why our commitment to diversity and inclusion matters; how it’s easy to miss things that aren’t our reality; and why people in similar situations can experience entirely different outcomes. Annemarie is an incredibly skilled presenter who effortlessly brings others along on her journey. Our participants connected with her instantly and there wasn’t a single person who didn’t feel inspired, moved or motivated by her remarks.”

I first met Annemarie at the TLOMA Conference in 2017 where she was presenting on diversity and inclusion as a part of business success. I was impressed with her approachable presenting style, topical knowledge and her ability to really get me thinking about my personal and professional interactions differently. That session stayed with me and so it was an easy decision to invite her in to speak with our Management and HR Team on the topic of unconscious bias. Annemarie was easy to work with and very flexible. She adapted her presentation, activities and facilitation to our industry and more specifically our Firm. This way our staff could get the most possible out of the training provided. Within the training (which I participated in) she encouraged and enabled conversations and perspectives raised by participants. She was able to get every person in the room to speak and engage on multiple occasions. Which can be a difficult thing to do when the topic is perceived as sensitive. We have since had Annemarie back to run some addition unconscious bias training for our Associates and will likely reach out to her for future sessions regarding the important and impactful topics surrounding diversity and inclusion. Thanks Annemarie!

“Although some of what may be revealed, when delving into our unconscious mind, may not be what we expect or what we want to find, the unconscious bias training provided by Annemarie Shrouder was very enlightening. Being in an environment where you feel safe while you learn about yourself and your own biases as well as the biases of others, was very comforting. Annemarie is engaging, accepting, intelligent and funny! The training, as much as it was necessary, was also fun and very important. I now know more about myself and my own instincts and biases and I am able to recognize how I think and why, in a way that allows me to make more thoughtful, informed, and enlightened decisions. I strongly recommend the unconscious bias training for workplaces or for anyone who works with any number of people.”
– Andrea C., Lerners LLP
“Annemarie presented on diversity, inclusion and connection for my grade 7-12 school’s parent council. She actively engaged parents in a thoughtful workshop that emphasized how and why as parents and as a school community we need to be committed to diversity and inclusion. By sharing three key questions, participants were enabled to question their personal bias and their own commitment to diversity and inclusion. A highly recommended speaker for school communities and educators!”
– Rosemary Stiglic, Principal, The Woodlands School
“We are grateful to have had Annemarie present for us in our community event: All around the World. Annemarie was honest, confident, and genuine in her delivery as she provided an interactive and engaging presentation on being mindful of our own assumptions while encouraging diversity within the community.”
